“Their resistance against high temperature and vibration makes them ideal for use in specified automotive and industrial applications. In these areas, hybrid capacitors have proved themselves highly universal and reliable components,” said Conrad Business Supplies, which is stocking the devices.

They are designed for long life, high durability and a low leakage current. For example, the ZC capacitors reach 4,000 hours at 125°C.

Operating temperature range of the ZA series is -55 to 105°C, while the ZC series are specified from -55 to 125°C.

For high ripple current, internal loss resistance (ESR) is 20mΩ.

All capacitors comply with AEC-Q200 and are suitable for use in high humidity.

Devices are available from 10 to 330μF and 25 to 63Vdc.

“These versatile capacitors are space-saving and are ideally suited for harsh industrial and automotive environments,” claimed Conrad product group head Peter Müller.

Applications in filters, power converters and voltage regulators are expected, as well as for decoupling and in clock circuits.
